Culinary Cultivations – Grand Rapids & West Michigan
Pay: $20–$22 per hour (based on experience, event type, and client)


Job Description

Build your own schedule, work great events, and bartend in some of the best venues in West Michigan.

Culinary Cultivations, Grand Rapids' premier food service and hospitality staffing company, is seeking experienced Event Bartenders to join our seasonal event staffing team. Our bartenders support a wide variety of private events, weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions throughout the Grand Rapids and West Michigan area.

This role is ideal for experienced bartenders looking to earn extra income while maintaining flexibility and control over their schedules.


About the Role
  • Team members work as independent contractors

  • Shifts are selected based on availability from posted event opportunities

  • Paid hourly bi-weekly


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional, efficient bar service at private and public events

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to event guidelines

  • Maintain a clean, organized bar area throughout the event

  • Deliver excellent guest service while representing Culinary Cultivations and our clients professionally

  • Follow all applicable alcohol service laws and client policies


Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of bartending experience required

  • Experience with:

    • High-volume service

    • Event or catering bartending (preferred)

  • Strong communication and guest service skills

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new venues and event setups

  • Reliable and punctual

  • ServSafe or other valid Michigan alcohol safety certification required
