Grasslands Club is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Golf Course Equipment Operator to help maintain our championship-level golf course. This role is essential to delivering exceptional playing conditions and supporting a first-class member experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and understands the importance of consistency and care in course maintenance.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate golf course maintenance equipment including mowers, blowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, and related tools
Mow greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other course areas according to established standards
Assist with course setup, bunker maintenance, edging, and debris removal
Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Follow all safety procedures and proper equipment handling guidelines
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to meet daily priorities
Maintain the overall appearance and playability of the golf course and surrounding areas
Prior golf course or grounds maintenance experience preferred (but not required)
Ability to safely operate mechanical equipment
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
