Description

Dealer Trade Driver (Non-employee, Independent Contractor)

Lum's Auto Center, Inc. is seeking motivated Dealer Trade Drivers to assist our sales team. Our Dealer Trade Driver safely transports our vehicles between dealerships. The ideal candidate is going to be someone with a clean driving record and excellent communication skills.

To be successful as an Dealer Trade Driver, top candidates will be fun, loyal, empathetic, professional and personable individuals, with a passion for great customer service.

Dealer Trade Driver Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are not damaged or defective.
  • Transport dealership vehicles between Lum's Auto Center and trading dealerships.
  • Follow all traffic laws, ensuring the safety of self, the community, and that our vehicles remain intact.
  • Communicate with the sales management team related to any issues or concerns related to the delivery of the vehicle or necessary vehicle maintenance.
  • Be mindful of time and expense related to travel between dealerships.

Pay:

  • Determined based on trip.

Schedule: On-call, as available

Qualifications

Dealer Trade Driver Qualifications:

  • Maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Excellent driving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • In accordance with State and Federal employment laws, must be age 18 or older.

Experience:

  • Driving 1 year minimum
