Job Description Multi-State Leave Administrator (Independent Contractor) 6 Month Engagement | Hybrid - New York We are seeking an experienced Multi-State Leave Administrator (Independent Contractor) to provide project-based support administering various leave of absence programs across multiple jurisdictions during a defined six-month engagement. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses strong leave administration expertise, with the ability to independently manage assigned deliverables while collaborating with internal stakeholders as needed. As a consultant, you will support ongoing leave operations during a temporary coverage period, ensuring continuity, accuracy, and compliance.

The work will be performed primarily remotely, with periodic on-site presence (once per week) for coordination meetings or key activities. This engagement is structured as an independent contractor relationship and is focused on delivering defined operational outcomes within the project term. It requires a strong ability to multitask while providing high-touch, personalized support for each incoming request.

Scope of Services Manage high-touch leave of absence requests, including tracking timelines, documentation, and required approvals. Provide personalized guidance and documentation related to leave programs and processes for employees in multiple states. Serve as a liaison with external leave administrators and vendors to ensure smooth coordination.

Maintain accurate leave records, files, and reporting to support compliance and continuity across jurisdictions.
