Job description

The Southern Service Worker Education Fund is looking for a data entry associate to quickly and accurately log community survey data over the months of July and August. Ideal candidates will be reliable, proficient with technology, and extremely detail oriented.

Job Duties:

  • Swiftly and precisely transcribe information from various community forms and digital records.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy by cross-referencing system entries against original sources to fix typos or missing details.
  • Perform regular quality checks to resolve data discrepancies through verification or internal team coordination.
  • Adhere to strict privacy protocols to ensure sensitive community and organizational information remains secure.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs). Experience using scanners to quickly move data into spreadsheets is a plus.
  • Typing speed of 50-60 WPM.
  • 1โ€“2 years of data entry or administrative experience preferred.
  • High attention to detail, strong time-management skills, ability to work independently, and a high level of integrity.

This is a temporary full time position starting July 13 ending July 31 with a possibility of extension. Pay rate i $25/ hour
