CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

MLee Healthcare has been engaged by a critical access hospital in a scenic and beautiful city in Northern Main that is seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join their dynamic team.
Enjoy an independent autonomous practice where you can bring your full skills to bear performing general, MAC, spinals, epidurals and peripheral nerve blocks.
Schedule:
  • Two (2) weeks on, one (1) week off (12 days on/9 days off) - total of 17 weeks off per year with shared call.

Qualifications for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maine.
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
  • Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
Responsibilities for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs throughout surgical procedures.
  • Assess patients preoperatively and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Monitor patients postoperatively and manage pain control as needed.
  • Administer medications and anesthesia techniques to induce and maintain anesthesia, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Approximately 1,100 cases per year with an average of 110 births annually (included in the case numbers).
  • Surgeries performed: General, Orthopedic, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Urology and Podiatry.
