Job description

Contingency Management Case Manager

The Contingency Management (CM) Case Manager will be the main point of contact for all participating clients and will administer the agency’s contingency management treatment protocol. This will utilize designated tools for collecting drug test samples, interpreting the results, and providing incentives to the clients utilizing the Incentive Manager (IM). The IM ensures fidelity across all sites and ensures adherence to a consistent and secure system for managing these incentives.

Non-Exempt, Part time, 20 hours per week

Hourly Pay Range $22.00 - $24.00

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years’ experience in Contingency Management. Successful completion of a two-step readiness Assessment process conducted by DMHAS-University of Connecticut (UCONN)School of Medicine (SOM) Team. This includes Contingency Management training, training on the Incentive Management System technology. Previous experience in contingency management preferred. Operational knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, and MS Teams.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Valid Driver’s license required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for collecting drug test samples as well as inputting and interpreting the tests
  • Represents the agency as the main point of contact for all participating clients
  • Address any contingency management client needs in real-time
  • Document client contacts/events in web-based recording system
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training
  • Serve as the backup provider for the Contingency Management Coordinator
  • Distribute incentives based on the algorithm developed by the IM vendor
  • Participate in ongoing technical assistance and implementation sessions
