Job description

Overview

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook, GlenOaks, Hinsdale and La Grange hospitals are affiliated with UChicago Medicine, one of the top academic medical centers in the country. We are also part of AdventHealth, a unified health system with over 50 hospital campuses and hundreds of care sites in diverse markets throughout 9 states.

Responsibilities

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth has an exciting APN opportunity in our Family Medicine clinic our in Hinsdale. This role will be part clinical and part administrative.

1-3 years of experience, preferred

Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with attending Physician

Must have experience in full spectrum Family Medicine

APN will see acute patients only for clinic; approximately 8 patients per day

  Schedule:  5 days per week and rotating Saturdays

Administrative work to include: triage EMR inboxes, refill medications, review labs and controlled substances, etc.

Coverage for physicians on PTO, medical leave, etc.

EPIC Inbox management for assigned Physicians

Annual Salary: $115K - $125K

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Master's degree in Nursing

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.

ACLS Certification, required

Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office

Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
