Job description

ABOUT THE JOB

Dobson Fiber is bringing fiber-fast, reliable internet to communities across Oklahoma — and we're a local company that talks like a neighbor, not a faceless telecom. We're building a brand-new inbound sales team, and we're looking for an Inbound Sales Agent who loves helping people and knows how to turn a phone call into a happy customer.

As an Inbound Sales Agent, you're the friendly, knowledgeable voice callers reach when they want to sign up for or learn about Dobson Fiber service. You'll listen to what each customer needs, match them with the right internet plan, and help them add products that make their home connection even better — all while making the experience easy and genuinely helpful.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer inbound sales calls and guide prospective customers through their options.
  • Recommend the right fiber internet speed tier for each household.
  • Introduce add-on products like Tech Protect, eero Secure+, Mobile, and DirecTV Stream where they fit the customer's needs.
  • Accurately enter orders and customer information into our systems.
  • Follow the approved call flow and meet quality, conversion, and customer-experience standards.
  • Hit and exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A warm, confident communicator who's comfortable on the phone.
  • Sales-minded — you like hitting goals and helping customers say “yes”.
  • Prior sales, call center, retail, or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable navigating computers, CRM tools, and multiple systems at once.
  • Dependable, coachable, and a team player.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS

  • Compliance with company safety policies, PPE, safe driving, DOT requirements, etc.

ENVIRONMENTAL / WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment.
  • Occasional business travel may be required based on business needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively and utilize standard office technology and equipment.
  • May require remaining in a stationary position and moving throughout the work environment as needed to perform job responsibilities.
