Job description

JOB TITLE:  Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) for Tireco Distributors, you will maintain customer satisfaction through effectively handling customer sales inquiries, new product introductions, answering inbound customer sales calls, and making daily outbound sales calls to support ongoing sales and marketing campaigns. Telemarketing background would be ideal.

SCHEDULE

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with rotating Saturdays
  • Closed on Sundays so you can spend time with your loved ones

COMPENSATION

  • Base pay ($18.50/hr) 

Average performers in this role are earning $10,800 in commission

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provides exceptional customer service and sales support to all customers and team members
  • Effectively supports sales and customer service-related inquiries from customers through various channels, i.e., phone, chat, text, and email
  • Answers inbound customer phone calls
  • Makes outbound sales calls to support company objectives as assigned by the manager
  • Enters customer discussion points and other information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and coordinates follow-up activities
  • Provides information to customers about our products, services, campaigns, and programs
  • Develops new prospects and leads by making outbound phone calls and doing research online
  • Assists sales team and customers with new customer and credit applications
  • Supports the product returns process for new items and warranty claims
  • Maintains supplier point-of-sale brochures, catalogs, banners, and other items to support sales team members and customers
  • Compiles recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of key business processes
  • Works with other sales team members and sales team management to share best practices and implement improved sales practices
  • Availability to work Saturdays as part of team rotation; covering phones remotely using company equipment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High school diploma / G.E.D. or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar or related position
  • Excellent customer service track record
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office suite; Word, Outlook
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, preferred
