Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing inbound sales inquiries and proactively developing new business through outbound cold calling and phone-based sales activities. The position requires frequent phone communication and approximately 15% travel to support customer visits, training, or trade events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business through outbound cold calling, follow-up calls, and email outreach.
  • Manage inbound customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and professional responses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, and end users in industrial markets.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
  • Prepare and deliver quotes, process sales orders, and follow through to order completion.
  • Collaborate with outside sales, engineering, production, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in the CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals, call activity targets, and achieve revenue objectives.
  • Participate in product training to maintain a strong understanding of hose materials, applications, and industry standards.
  • Travel up to 15% for customer visits, distributor support, training, or trade shows as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
