Job description

About the Role:

Location: Remote or Central Office | Full-Time

At Buca di Beppo, celebrations are at the heart of everything we do—and our Inbound Sales Specialists are often the first voice our guests hear when they’re planning one. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, a corporate dinner, or a catered event, this role ensures every guest receives prompt, professional, and knowledgeable service—and walks away with a booked event.

As part of our sales team, Inbound Sales Specialists don’t just answer inquiries—they book events, guide the guest experience, and help create magical moments from the very first call. You’ll play a critical role in converting leads, building relationships, and supporting flawless event execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound group dining and catering inquiries via phone, email, and web forms
  • Actively guide guests through menu offerings, event packages, and add-ons to tailor the perfect event—and close the booking
  • Book events directly using Tripleseat, ensuring accuracy in all details and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Promptly follow up on Tripleseat Direct Bookings to confirm information and answer any guest questions (placeholder for evolving process)
  • Manage a high volume of inbound calls and web leads with speed, professionalism, and a warm, service-minded approach
  • Collaborate with restaurant operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff and full alignment on execution details
  • Surface high-potential leads or upsell opportunities to Regional or National Sales Managers when appropriate
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of all current promotions, seasonal packages, menu offerings, and brand standards
  • Perform sales-related administrative tasks and provide general team support when needed
  • Meet and exceed KPIs, including booking conversion rate, response time, and guest satisfactio

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in inbound sales, call center booking, hospitality, or customer service
  • Strong track record of booking and closing sales in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—confident, friendly, and guest-focused
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience using CRM or event booking tools (Tripleseat a plus)
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset and a passion for helping others
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on demand

What Success Looks Like

  • Guests feel confident, excited, and fully supported—from inquiry to confirmation
  • You consistently book events and convert leads into sales
  • Sales handoffs to the operations team are clear, complete, and seamless
  • Guests rave about the service and return for their next celebration
