WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:
Operations Leadership You will lead the day-to-day inbound operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives that significantly increase productivity and efficiency. You'll take a strategic approach to planning-daily, weekly, and monthly-prioritizing work, setting clear timelines, and allocating resources to successfully deliver departmental goals.
People Leadership You will lead and empower a high-performing warehouse team in a fast-paced distribution environment. Through visible leadership on the floor, you'll foster a positive and productive work culture while developing team members through effective training, coaching, performance feedback, and consistent support-motivating employees to meet and exceed performance targets.
You have:
  • Ideally, 3 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills across all functions and levels of the organization, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of distribution processes, lean manufacturing/continuous improvement principles, ERP/WMS systems, handheld devices, and freight carriers.
  • Bachelor's degree or experience in a related field preferred.
  • Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing and occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching/stooping. Full use of upper extremities in the manipulation of materials used in the production processes. Warehouse is not temperature controlled.
