Job Summary
Responsible for optimizing the flow of products from suppliers through SSE distribution partners. Partners closely with Procurement, suppliers, and logistics partners to reduce total delivered cost while maintaining quality, reliability, and consistency.
Focused on inbound logistics strategy and execution, ensuring sourcing decisions are supported by practical, scalable logistics solutions that enable growth, new market expansion, and LTO execution, prior to restaurant delivery.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead inbound logistics strategy from supplier ship points to distribution partners
  • Optimize ship points, routing, consolidation, and delivery frequency into distribution centers
  • Build inbound logistics infrastructure and processes to support growth plans, new markets, and LTOs
  • Partner with the Procurement team to unbundle freight from product costs, improving transparency and sourcing decisions
  • Support strategic sourcing events by modeling inbound logistics impacts, freight scenarios, and total delivered cost
  • Provide inbound logistics leadership during supplier selection, onboarding, and transitions
  • Serve as a senior logistics contact for suppliers and inbound logistics partners
  • Establish inbound logistics performance standards, expectations, and escalation paths
  • Lead inbound-focused supplier and logistics partner performance reviews
  • Own and manage inbound ReD (Redistribution) programs
  • Identify and execute inbound logistics cost-reduction initiatives without impacting product quality or service
  • Analyze inbound freight spend and performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Maintain a boots-on-the-ground approach through supplier and partner visits to identify improvement opportunities
  • Proactively identify inbound supply chain risks and partner with Procurement, QA, and Distribution on mitigation plans
  • Support supplier transitions, sourcing changes, and LTO execution with disciplined inbound logistics planning
