Job description

We are looking for a dependable Customer Service Representative to join a team in Houston, Texas on a Long-term Contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who brings a positive attitude, works well across multiple tasks, and takes ownership of daily customer support activities. The position focuses on delivering responsive service, handling payment-related requests, and maintaining accurate communication through phone and email.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and a solution-focused approach.
• Process credit card payments accurately while following established procedures and maintaining confidentiality.
• Manage multiple customer inquiries at once and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate with customers through email to provide updates, answer questions, and resolve routine issues.
• Review account details carefully to ensure information is complete, accurate, and properly documented.
• Take initiative in identifying customer needs and following through until issues are resolved.
• Use AS400 and related tools to enter, update, and retrieve customer and payment information; training will be provided.
• Support day-to-day service operations by maintaining organized records and meeting response expectations.• At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Strong ability to handle inbound telephone conversations in a courteous and attentive manner.
• Experience processing credit card transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining correct records.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and stay productive while multitasking.
• Clear written communication skills for effective email correspondence.
• Self-motivated approach with initiative, reliability, and a customer-focused attitude.
