Working Period: August 31, 2026 to December 4, 2026
Expected Available Shifts outside of the dates listed below:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Standard Hours)
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Morning Intake)
Monday - Friday 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Evening Intake)/ 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (the following shift if the employee is not scheduled for evening intake the next day)
OVERTIME OPPORTUNITIES REQUIRED AS NEEDED ON WEEKENDS AND EVENINGS DEPENDENT ON BALLOT VOLUME

  • Election Day - November 3rd - Extended hours required - All staff must be prepared and committed to working extended hours.
  • Last Day of Early Voting - October 30th - Extended hours required - All staff must be prepared and committed to working extended hours.
  • Holidays - Nevada Day - October 30th /November 11th - Veterans Day - All staff must be prepared and committed to working extended hours.
  • Post Election Processing - November 4th - November 12th - All staff must be prepared and committed to working extended hours until all mail ballots have been processed.
Job Duties:
  • Duties will vary from immediate through December 4th. We are seeking staff members who can adapt to different facets of the office. Responsibilities include:
  • General Job Duties
    • Provide general clerical support, including compiling, organizing, and distributing information.
    • Perform data entry, verify accuracy and maintain information in specialized systems.
    • Proofread documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting.
    • Collect, verify, and enter data into applicable systems.
    • Prepare general correspondence and maintain confidentiality of department information.
    • Manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
    • Communicate clearly and maintain positive working relationships.
    • Provide Public Call Center support by responding to voter inquiries professionally and delivering high-quality customer service.
    • Document calls and handle sensitive or high-volume public interactions appropriately.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in a professional office environment.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, during election operations.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, copiers, and telephones.
