The Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Sports Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our elite team in Sparks, Nevada. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art facility located in Sparks, Nevada. You will interact with a diverse group of experts, including strength coaches, athletic trainers, and sports medicine physicians, all committed to fostering an athlete-focused environment. Our center is equipped with the latest sports technology, including motion capture systems, force plates, and other advanced rehabilitation tools, ensuring you have the resources needed to help athletes recover efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, sport-specific evaluations and biomechanical assessments that analyze athlete movement patterns, strengths, and deficiencies.
  • Design individualized rehabilitation programs aimed at improving function and returning athletes to their sports safely.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions, such as manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, blood flow restriction training, and plyometric exercises tailored to each athlete’s unique needs.
  • Collaborate with coaches and medical professionals to strategize and adapt training regimens for optimum recovery and performance enhancement.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient feedback.
  • Provide education to athletes about injury prevention, recovery techniques, and sports performance enhancement strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient population will consist of a wide range of athletic individuals seeking to recover from injuries, improve their physical capabilities, and enhance their sporting performance. This includes high school and college athletes, weekend warriors, and competitive professionals. Your role will significantly impact their health and sports outcomes, as you guide them towards recovery and peak performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
  • A valid and active physical therapist license in the state of Nevada.
  • A strong inclination toward sports rehabilitation, demonstrating both passion and proficiency in the area.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with athletes, coaches, and team members.
Preferred Experience
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is preferred.
  • Certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or as a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in strength and conditioning or athletic training is a plus.
  • New graduates with a sports background are encouraged to apply; mentorship will be provided.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
