Job description

The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach leads a team of 4-7 coaches in developing and implementing training programs aimed at enhancing the performance and reducing injury risk of amateur athletes. This role emphasizes strong leadership and expertise in exercise science within a collaborative environment to support athletic department goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and mentor a team of 4-7 strength and conditioning coaches.
  • Develop and implement effective strength, conditioning, and injury prevention programs for amateur athletes.
  • Collaborate with athletic trainers, sports coaches, and medical staff to optimize athlete health and performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate training programs for continuous improvement.
  • Manage scheduling and resources for the strength and conditioning department.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and institutional policies.
  • Lead educational sessions for athletes and staff on fitness and wellness topics.

Preferred Qualifications
