About D1 Training
D1 Training is an athletic-based group training facility for adults and youth athletes ages 7 and up. Our mission is simple: You pick the goal, we help you get there.
We combine expert coaching, proven training systems, and a high-energy environment to help every athlete improve performance, build confidence, and reach their goals.
Position Overview
As a D1 Coach, youโ€™ll lead group workouts, provide individualized guidance, and create an environment where athletes feel challenged, supported, and motivated. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about strength & conditioning, athlete development, and performance coaching.
What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Lead group training sessions for youth, adults, and teams
  • Provide personal training and individualized coaching when needed
  • Teach proper form, technique, and movement mechanics
  • Take initiative in helping grow the business through community outreach, networking, and recruiting new athletes/clients
  • Contribute ideas and bring an entrepreneurial mindset to help expand training programs and membership growth
  • Leverage sport-specific expertise to provide added value to athletes looking to improve performance in their sport
  • Modify workouts to meet athletes at their current ability level
  • Help athletes improve strength, speed, agility, and overall performance
  • Build strong relationships and maintain regular communication with members
  • Start and finish sessions on time while maintaining a high-energy environment
  • Support member retention through coaching, accountability, and service
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • 1+ year of experience in strength & conditioning, personal training, or group fitness
  • Strong understanding of exercise science, movement patterns, and injury prevention
  • Current Coach with experience leading youth athletes and/or adult training
  • Specific sports background or expertise strongly preferred (football, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, track, etc.)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with confidence building relationships and generating new business opportunities
  • High energy, positive attitude, and ability to motivate others
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification (required)
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Exercise Science or related field (preferred)
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Train a wide range of athletes, from youth to adults to teams

  • Work with a brand thatโ€™s growing rapidly nationwide
  • Make a direct impact on athletesโ€™ performance and confidence
