Job Summary:

The eCommerce Clerk serves as a personal shopper and point of contact to Heinen’s customers by selecting items and assembling online orders. They are responsible for ensuring all orders are picked accurately, properly packed, stored, and staged for pick-up in a timely manner. Additionally, these associates must ensure quality control and handle products carefully during the selection and packing process to minimize damage and uphold Heinen’s quality standards. Individuals are also expected to provide service that aligns with Heinen’s brand for customers they interact with daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Understands store layout and variety of product offerings.
  • Interfaces with customers via phone and in-person to ensure accuracy of all online orders (including product substitutions).
  • Collaborates with other eCommerce clerks to ensure completion of daily orders.
  • Maintains safety as a top priority in all aspects of work for team members, customers, and products.
  • Develops into expert user of software application. Maximize pick and pack efficiency by adhering to Heinen’s selection standards.
  • Interacts with and assists customers as needed.
  • Organizes and stages customer orders to assist with the pick-up and delivery process.
  • Provides feedback as necessary to assist with process improvements.
  • Provides cross-department support on daily tasks as needed.
