Additional Position Details: Union Position | FTE: 0.75 | Part Time | 3rd Shift - Nights Patterned
Salary Range: $53.99 - $77.79.
Shift Differentials:
  • $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
  • $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Summary
The Cardiac Step-Down Unit (CSDU) is a 6-bed unit. Nurse to patient ratio is 3:1. The CSDU provides an intermediate level of care with a focus on the cardiothoracic patient population. CSDU provides patient-centered care to all cardiac patients from adolescence (age 16) to adults of all ages. The staff in the CSDU are very engaged in a Shared Governance model of leadership.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience
  • Experience in an acute cardiac care or critical care environment required.

Licensure/Certifications
  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required upon start.

Preferred Certifications
  • PCCN: Progressive Care Certified Nurse.
  • CMSRN: Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.
  • HNC: Holistic Nursing Certified.
  • MSN RN-BC: Medical Surgical Nurse RN Board Certified.
