Charge Nurse (RN) Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a Compact State
  • Prefer at least one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous Charge Nurse or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing staff while providing exceptional resident care
Charge Nurse (RN) Job Duties
  • Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned day shift
  • Coordinate resident care and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary team
  • Ensure quality resident care and compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Follow all facility policies and procedures
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation
  • Assist with staffing assignments and provide guidance to nursing staff
  • Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns in a professional manner
  • Other duties as assigned
