As a Registered Nurse at the award-winning Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, you will be an integral member of a patient-first, Magnet-designated healthcare team. You will provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, and evaluating treatments while collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care: Perform comprehensive assessments, administer prescribed medications, and implement individualized nursing care plans.
  • Patient & Family Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between the patient, their families, and the medical staff, ensuring compassionate communication and education.
  • Clinical Excellence: Maintain accurate medical records, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
  • Safety & Quality: Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality metrics, contributing to the hospital's reputation for exceptional patient satisfaction.

Qualifications
