This role will help translate decades of recovery-based knowledge into high-quality CEU training programs designed to enhance clinical effectiveness, deepen trauma-informed practice, and expand understanding of how healing and balanced holistic living support sustained mental wellness.

This position is ideal for a clinician-educator who values integrity, innovation, and service to the greater good of mental health.

  • Translate Racing for Recovery’s holistic recovery philosophy into clinician-relevant, trauma-informed educational frameworks
  • Align curriculum with state and national CEU requirements (e.g., counseling, social work, addiction, psychology, nursing, allied health)
  • Create learning objectives, course outlines, instructional materials, assessments, and post-course evaluations
  • Collaborate with Racing for Recovery leadership to ensure fidelity to mission, language, and values
  • Support the continuous improvement and expansion of Racing for Recovery’s educational offerings
  • Assist with documentation needed for CEU approval bodies as required
Requirements:Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Addiction Studies, or related behavioral health field
  • Active professional licensure (e.g., LPCC, LISW, LPC, LCSW, LICDC, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, clinical education, training, or teaching
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented treatment models
  • Ability to conceptualize and communicate holistic, lifestyle-based approaches to mental health within professional standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing or delivering CEU-approved trainings
  • Familiarity with Racing for Recovery philosophy, Todd Crandell’s work, or similar holistic recovery models
  • Background integrating lifestyle, wellness, or experiential approaches into clinical practice
  • Experience working with diverse populations impacted by trauma
  • Passion for educating clinicians and elevating the field of mental wellness
What Makes This Role Meaningful

This is not just curriculum development—it is legacy work. The selected professional will contribute to:

  • Advancing trauma-informed clinical education nationwide
  • Preserving and expanding the Racing for Recovery philosophy for future generations
  • Empowering clinicians with practical, compassionate tools that work in real life
  • Improving outcomes for children, adults, families, and communities impacted by trauma
Who We’re Looking For

  • Leads with integrity, humility, and purpose
  • Values both science and lived experience
  • Believes healing is possible and sustainable
