Job description

The focus of this position is Quality Assurance, specific to inspection.
Inspect finished or in-process electronic assemblies, to include printed circuit boards, cables, wires, components in addition to treatments such as conformal coating, bonding, masking.
  • Assist Supervisor in daily work assignments and prioritization, act as supervisor back-up
  • Using familiarity with IPC-A-610 REV H, inspect in-process and finished articles
  • Use naked eye, microscope and X RAY to perform 1st Article and final inspections
  • Applying IPC 610 REV H guidelines and customer requirements, determine true defects that impact form/fit/function or customer described requirements
  • Route defects for rework; re-inspect
  • Communicate trends/areas of concern to Quality Supervisor
  • Execute AOI inspections as needed
  • Complete inspection documentation as required

Required Skills/Experience/Education:
  • Computer literacy
  • Must read/write English
  • IPC-A-610 knowledge; must be able to demonstrate past certification or on the job training to equate. Must have performed PCBA inspection in the last 2 years.

A combination of these skills may be combined with experience and/or education to meet the required skills for this position. On the job training occurring at Triad based on aptitude and competency shown may also be applied towards required skills. A QA inspection test may occur at the time of the interview.
