Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team at our Lewiston, Maine facility.
This role is responsible for inspecting finished and in-process products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards. The Quality Inspector utilizes precision measuring equipment, performs visual inspections, maintains inspection documentation, and works closely with Manufacturing to ensure only quality products move through the production process.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment and visual inspection techniques
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements to verify product compliance
• Operate inspection equipment, including manual and CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), as required
• Measure, identify, package, and prepare materials for shipment or additional processing
• Perform calibration checks on inspection equipment and maintain accurate quality documentation
• Complete ERP transactions, inspection records, and production paperwork accurately
• Support continuous improvement efforts while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures while assisting with other inspection activities as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or precision machining preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, CMMs, and other precision measuring equipment preferred
• Basic computer skills for documentation and ERP transactions
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Basic shop math skills and the ability to interpret technical specifications
