Are you an experienced aviation professional with a passion for safety, quality, and aircraft airworthiness? We are seeking a dedicated QC Inspector to join our growing team and play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of maintenance quality and regulatory compliance.

About the Role

As a QC Inspector, you will be responsible for overseeing aircraft maintenance quality, conducting inspections, verifying airworthiness, and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures. This position requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to aviation safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Required Inspection Items (RII) in accordance with company maintenance procedures.
  • Verify the physical conformity and airworthiness of aircraft on the operating certificate.
  • Conduct inspections of completed maintenance actions to ensure quality workmanship and accurate documentation.
  • Support and participate in heavy maintenance checks as assigned.
  • Monitor maintenance activities and vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Investigate quality concerns and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Inspect incoming aircraft parts, products, and assemblies for condition, identification, and proper documentation.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to maintenance teams, promoting best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Support maintenance training initiatives, recordkeeping, and tracking requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety, security, and quality throughout all operations.
Qualifications
  • Valid FAA Airframe amp; Powerplant (A amp;P) Certificate required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience on Boeing 747-400 and/or MD-11 aircraft.
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance practices, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe, and other computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
