Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of raw materials.
  • Inspection of medical devices and packaging materials.
  • Check-in of tooling.
  • Ensure quarantine and placement of non-conforming products.
  • First piece, in-process and final inspection of product using appropriate measurement tools.
  • Create and complete first article inspections and waivers.
  • Complete dock audits, bust and peel testing, and collect retains for first article.
  • Prepare certificate of conformance.
  • Maintain records for inspection and reference.
  • Clean room air particle testing and bio-sampling testing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Good work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently or with a team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to follow and understand quality management objectives and manufacturing procedures.
  • Must be fluent in English for communication and reading safety instructions, procedures, and customer orders and parts.
  • Ability to review and understand QMS procedures, protocols and instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and build sheets.
  • Knowledge of measurement tools and equipment, and QC Lab requirements.
  • Knowledge of sampling plans and tolerances and recognizing critical tolerances and dimensions.
  • Must be able to stand long periods of time and walk continuously through assigned areas.
  • Must be able to wear facial mask, and gowning equipment including booties, gowns/jackets, gloves, eye protection when applicable, hair net, and facial hair net if/when applicable.
  • Must be able to lift 45lbs occasionally and 25lbs regularly.
