Forklift Operator

Wage: $17.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday - Friday, Possible OT on Saturday)

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload trucks and rail cars
  • Move materials and other products from storage to work areas and vice versa
  • Break packs to correct size and label material before loading product onto truck
  • Perform routine post and pre operation inspections to ensure that the forklift is in proper, working condition
  • Maintain yard and ensure it is organized and clean
  • Complete paperwork
Requirements for Forklift Operator:

- Basic math skills and able to read a ruler

- Able to work safely, always being safety conscious

- Able to sit, stand and walk throughout the entire shift

- Able to climb in and out of the forklift repetitively throughout shift

- Able to bend, squat, reach, push, pull and climb throughout shift

- Good hand-eye coordination
