About the Job About the Job Tree Handler / Forestry Mower Operator a with Class A CDL We are looking for a reliable Sennebogen / Horizontal Grinder / Forestry Mower Operator to join our team. This position requires the candidate to drive and operate equipment such as a Semi Truck to transport our Sennebogen, Horizontal Grinder, and Fecon Track Machine (with attachments-specifically brush mower); a log truck (with grapple), and skid steers, etc. EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:

Responsible for:
  • The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for transporting and operating a diverse range of equipment which are essential for the clearing, cutting, and grinding of trees and brush, as well as grinding stumps and creating mulch.
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and compliance. Actively evaluate surroundings and weather to assure personal safety and that of equipment while at rest and/or in operation.
  • Utilize organizational and communication skills to assure all tools and equipment are in good working order and are available at the job site.
  • Maintaining equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventative maintenance and repair tasks such as: making adjustments, replacing minor parts, washing, and lubricating equipment. Keep accurate written records of inspections and maintenance.
  • Operate equipment in compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Removing trees and brush using the above-listed equipment in a safe manner.
Qualification:
  • Love of the outdoors as your year round office.
  • Proficient in operating various heavy equipment.
  • CLASS A CDL.
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask.
  • A high standard of excellence whether working independently or within team environments.
