ABOUT US:
The h.wood Group is a Los Angeles based lifestyle and hospitality company with establishments and events across the United States and Europe. Our company is built on integrity, creating the world’s best restaurants, nightlife, and events.
ROLE SUMMARY:
Security personnel ensure that the club maintains legal compliance by checking IDs. They must be friendly and welcoming to the patrons entering and exiting the club. They will be responsible for giving visitors general information about the club, checking tickets, and administering crowd control before, during, amp; after service. This position is responsible for diffusing any guest situations, should they arise, using non-aggressive tactics.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Greet guests upon arriving
  • Monitor the entrance of the club
  • Ensure safety for patrons and employees
  • Check proper identification and age verification of guests.
  • Monitor assigned post and makes necessary calls
  • Assist staff getting through the crowds
  • React professionally and rationally in emergency and pressure situations
  • De-escalate all conflicts
  • Maintain a consistent level of vigilance and situational awareness
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in nightclub environment
  • Valid California Guard Card required
  • Excellent communication amp; interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain discipline and control the environment
  • Ability to handle conflict, and make quick amp; sound decisions
  • Must be physically fit amp; able to stand for long periods (5-7 hours)
  • Self-defense training a plus
