Preschool Teacher Job Description – Holding Hands Daycare Center

Holding Hands Daycare Center is seeking dedicated and qualified Early Childhood Teachers to work with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-age children in a safe, caring, and educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging activities

  • Support children's emotional, physical, and academic development

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom

  • Communicate effectively with families and coworkers

  • Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies

Required Qualifications:

  • 90-Hour Early Childhood Certification (Preschool)

  • 9-Hour Communication Course

  • Basic Health & Safety and ADA Training

  • Infant/Toddler and School-Age Certifications (optional, but preferred for specific age groups)

  • 1 year of experience working with children or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or a related field
