The Opportunity: As an Event Server in the Catering/Banquet Department, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests during private events, weddings, banquets, and other special occasions. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and dedication to providing impeccable service will contribute to the overall success of our events and uphold the club's reputation for excellence.
Duties and Functions:
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Set up event spaces according to the event's specifications and standards.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests with precision and attention to presentation.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and proactively address any requests or concerns.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu items, wine list, and beverage offerings.
  • Assist in coordinating event flow, ensuring efficient service timing and smooth transitions.
  • Clear tables, ensuring all used items are promptly removed while guests are engaged elsewhere.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, event planners, and fellow servers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines throughout all stages of service.
  • Assist in event breakdown and clean-up, including proper storage of equipment and supplies.
