Job description

Event Assistant
An Event Assistant for Slick City Action Park helps plan, organize, and deliver fun, safe, and engaging family-oriented events such as birthday parties and group events , and community activities. You support the event manager, coordinate logistics, and ensure guests (especially families with children) have a great experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support the setup, operation, and breakdown of family entertainment events.
Assist with event logistics, scheduling, and coordination of birthday parties and group events
Provide outstanding guest service to families and children.
Help monitor event safety, cleanliness, and crowd flow.
Manage registration, ticketing, or merchandise tables as needed.
Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Ensure a fun, inclusive, and positive environment for guests and staff.
Fill in for Event Manager on a needed basis
Qualifications
Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service, or recreation preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, energetic, and child-focused personality.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Basic first aid or CPR certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, move, and be active for long periods. Able to lift up to 25 lbs (moving decorations, food trays, etc.).
