Special Events Lead - Harrah's Laughlin Beach Resort

We're looking for an organized and energetic Special Events Lead to support the planning, coordination, and execution of events and promotions across the property. This role is essential to delivering engaging guest experiences through successful promotions, giveaways, and special events. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working at the center of exciting property activations, this is a great opportunity to grow within the Caesars Entertainment family.

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1 year of related experience in events, promotions, or marketing preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, LMS, and AS400 preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Physical & Mental Requirements


Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to speak clearly in front of groups and use a microphone
Dexterity to handle event materials and equipment
Ability to work in hot or cold environments, including outdoor conditions
Maneuver in confined spaces and navigate stairs
Reach, bend, stoop, and twist as needed
Tolerate high noise levels and work in second-hand smoke environments
Speak, read, write, and understand English
Lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds as needed
Handle promotional items and materials safely and accurately

Plan, coordinate, and execute events and promotions including cash and merchandise giveaways, tournaments, and special events
Work closely with event coordinators and other departments to ensure successful execution of events and promotions
Communicate all event and promotion details accurately and in a timely manner to appropriate departments
Manage multiple events and promotions simultaneously while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail
Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and operational needs
Maintain and update event and promotion calendars, including assisting with staffing schedules as needed
Order promotional gifts and department supplies to support events
Maintain accurate and organized event files, including proper documentation and collateral distribution
Emcee events and promotions, including speaking in front of large groups using a microphone
Ensure events are executed in alignment with company standards and guest service expectations
Complete post-event summaries and reporting
Assist with special projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Marketing Manager or Director of Marketing
Deliver Caesars Entertainment's Family Style Service to all guests and team members
Must adhere to attendance guidelines and departmental/company policies
