Scope of Position

This data-driven and collaborative individual, as part of the Operations team, will be responsible for leading the demand planning process for the Watts Applied Solutions platform, developing accurate demand forecasts through statistical modeling, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This role drives short-term and long-term supply chain planning objectives, supports the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and contributes to improving customer experience through superior product availability and delivery performance.

This position reports to the SIOP Leader, Operations. This role is onsite and is based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop sales forecasts in partnership with Business, Product Line, and Marketing leaders.
  • Lead the Demand Planning portion of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and align stakeholders on 12-18 month business plans.
  • Utilize and maintain statistical forecasting and demand planning software as the primary forecasting tool.
  • Review historical sales trends, identify demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast accuracy.
  • Maintain and improve planning-related data integrity within ERP and planning systems.
  • Define, implement, and monitor metrics to measure planning performance and forecast accuracy.
  • Implement and continuously improve planning processes and systems.
  • Manage multiple complex projects while supporting supply chain planning objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales to align priorities and ensure on-time customer deliveries.
  • Routinely interact with internal and external customers to support planning and service objectives.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by [insert title of manager's position] or Company management.
  • Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency
  • Travel Requirements: 5%

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field (in absence of degree, relevant work experience may be considered).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain demand planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives utilizing relevant planning software and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, analysis, decision making, performance management, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience developing statistical forecasts and monitoring forecast accuracy.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree with specialization in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • APICS/ASCM certification, Project Management certification, or other relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience leading S&OP processes and cross-functional planning initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency with demand planning, forecasting, ERP, and supply chain analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous process improvement across multiple business functions.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Fort Worth. Texas location (Monday - Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
