In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining demand forecasts across e-commerce, Amazon (FBA/FBM), retail, wholesale, marketplace, and direct-to-consumer channels. You will leverage data, market trends, and business insights to create accurate forecasts that support inventory availability, operational efficiency, and business growth. The ideal candidate has experience building and managing forecast models, translating complex data into actionable recommendations, and collaborating cross-functionally to align demand plans with sales, supply chain, purchasing, and operational objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting new product launches, channel expansion, inventory strategy, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced and growing organization.

What You’ll Do:
  • Create and maintain demand forecasts across Amazon, e-commerce, retail, wholesale, marketplace, and direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Analyze sales trends, seasonality, inventory levels, promotions, and market activity to improve forecast accuracy and inventory planning.
  • Review system-generated forecasts, apply demand adjustments, and maintain planning assumptions based on business needs and market changes.
  • Monitor inventory health and recommend replenishment actions to reduce stockouts, excess inventory, and allocation issues.
  • Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams to align demand plans, inventory strategies, and business priorities.
  • Track forecast accuracy and key planning metrics while supporting continuous improvements in forecasting processes, tools, and reporting.
  • Manage demand planning systems, forecast inputs, planning parameters, and item-level assumptions to generate accurate demand forecasts.
  • Analyze sales history, seasonality, promotions, pricing changes, inventory levels, market trends, and competitive activity to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Review and adjust system-generated forecasts based on business conditions, product launches, channel changes, promotions, and market shifts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, and leadership teams through regular demand review and planning meetings.
  • Monitor inventory health and identify risks related to stockouts, excess inventory, slow-moving items, and channel allocation challenges.
  • Recommend inventory replenishment strategies based on demand trends, lead times, safety stock targets, supplier constraints, and fulfillment requirements.
  • Support new product launches and channel expansions through demand forecasting, inventory planning, and readiness assessments.
  • Partner with Purchasing and suppliers on purchase order planning, production schedules, inbound shipments, and inventory positioning.
  • Track and report forecast accuracy, demand variance, inventory exposure, and other key planning KPIs while driving continuous process improvement.
  • Support hedge-buy and inventory investment decisions related to tariffs, pricing changes, freight volatility, supply constraints, and anticipated demand shifts.
  • Maintain planning master data, including forecasts, lead times, safety stock levels, lifecycle status, MOQ assumptions, and channel planning parameters.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, demand management, forecasting, inventory planning, or supply chain planning, with responsibility for item-level forecasts across multiple sales channels, including e-commerce, marketplace, retail, wholesale, and/or direct-to-consumer.
  • Strong knowledge of demand planning principles, including sales velocity, seasonality, lead times, safety stock, forecast accuracy, demand variance, inventory allocation, replenishment planning, and stockout/excess inventory risk management.
  • Experience using demand planning software, ERP systems, inventory planning tools, advanced Excel, forecasting models, and AI-driven tools or automation to improve forecasting, reporting, data analysis, and planning workflows.
  • Proven ability to review and adjust system-generated forecasts, apply demand overrides, document planning assumptions, and translate data into actionable inventory and purchasing recommendations.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with experience partnering with Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketplace, and Finance teams to align forecasts and inventory strategies.
