Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Product Manager for the Mopar North America Demand & Supply Systems. This role is responsible for driving the development and optimization of the Demand & Supply Systems platforms. This role bridges the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that solutions meet customer needs, align with IT architecture, and support scalable growth while maintaining reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand Mopar’s Long-Term Strategic Business Plans and Vision: Gain insights into Mopar’s strategic direction and vision for the future.
  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the Global Demand & Supply Systems platform, aligning with business goals.
  • Develop and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with global convergence cross-functional teams (design, develop, implement, support) to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance the customer journey regional and globally.
  • Gather and refine requirements from stakeholders, translating them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related queries, feedback, and updates.
  • Lead Strategic Projects: Take charge of strategic initiatives, including the implementation of the Global Advance Planning System and the Global Vehicle Launch and Parts readiness for North America.
  • Manage the Development/Support Team: Oversee the development and support team, which includes Business Analysts, ICT-India, and Supplier Partners. Together, implement projects, key initiatives, and provide production support.
  • Provide support of Financial Management budget and forecast processes as required. 
  • Provide support to Contract & Supplier Management, Legal, and Purchasing teams on an ongoing basis and during sourcing and contract negotiation efforts. 
  • Develop sufficient knowledge of service provider contracts to effectively leverage supplier capabilities through active participation in dialogue, training, and product reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing ICT teams with direct reports, and reporting to senior management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product ownership or business analysis within IT environments.
  • Experience implementing or managing SaaS demand planning and forecasting systems such as Servigistics, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, etc.
  • Familiarity with Mainframe, EDI, APIs, cloud infrastructure, business analytics, AI/ML, and data security best practices.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development cycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of Aftersales demand planning platforms (e.g., Servigistics, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Mopar Planning System) and backend systems (ERP, SaaS, Legacy Systems
