POSITION SUMMARY:

Focus Interpreting is looking for a skilled English - Hmong Interpreters to join our teams serving Fresno County and/or San Bernardino County. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpretation services that facilitate effective communication between English-speaking individuals and Hmong-speaking clients in various settings, including healthcare, legal, and social services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret spoken communications in real-time, ensuring clarity and accuracy between English and Hmong speakers.
  • Utilize industry-standard interpretation techniques to deliver professional services in diverse environments.
  • Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and ethical standards to protect the privacy of all parties involved.
  • Prepare for assignments by researching relevant terminology and cultural nuances specific to the context of the interpretation.
  • Continuously engage in professional development to enhance language skills and knowledge of specialized fields.

REQUIREMENTS:
