Tri-County International Trucks/Idealease is a family-owned business seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to diagnose, repair, and maintain light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and buses.

  • At least one year of hands-on experience as a diesel technician - preferably dealership or fleet experience
  • Required: Michigan State Certifications in Heavy Duty Truck.  Trainee Permit accepted.
  • ASE, Navistar, or Cummins Certifications at least one of these for the listed pay rate.
  • Knowledge in the repair & maintenance of diesel engines, power trains, and electrical systems
  • Diagnostic skills/experience & attention to detail
  • Good verbal, written & computer skills
  • Good character & work ethic
  • Able to follow the manufacturer’s policies and procedures for labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs
  • On-the-job factory training and certifications are available
  • Internal promotional/growth opportunities based on experience and aptitude
  • Possess your own tools
  • Chauffeur’s License required (CDL a plus)

Qualified applicant must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check. Salary and sign-on bonus levels commensurate with experience.
