Job description

Position Overview:
SYNERGY HomeCare of Lee-Pontotoc County is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to provide essential, hands-on care for clients in their homes. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to supporting clients’ dignity, comfort, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)

  • Support mobility, transfers, and positioning

  • Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed

  • Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, dishes)

  • Offer medication reminders (no administering)

  • Monitor and report changes in client condition

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Personal Care Attendant, Certified Nurse Assistant, Caregiver, or similar role preferred

  • Ability to treat clients with respect, patience, and empathy

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Physical ability to potentially assist with lifting and mobility support (no more than 25 lbs.)

  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required)
