Lead Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA)
 

Role Purpose:
Lead the development, delivery, and growth of LRQA's CMMC services, providing technical leadership across assessments, advisory engagements, training, product development, and business growth initiatives while supporting compliance with CMMC, NIST, and related cybersecurity frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of CMMC methodologies, assessment tools, documentation, and compliance resources.
  • Create and update materials aligned with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171/172, and applicable cybersecurity standards.
  • Support the growth of LRQA's CMMC practice through strategic planning, partnerships, and service expansion initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, awareness materials, and enablement content for internal teams and clients.
  • Conduct CMMC gap assessments, risk assessments, readiness reviews, tabletop exercises, and advisory engagements.
  • Manage multiple projects, including planning, stakeholder coordination, resource allocation, quality assurance, and delivery tracking.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to support proposals, thought leadership, client meetings, and business development activities.
  • Maintain compliance with Cyber-AB, DoD, NIST, ISO, and LRQA quality management requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for CMMC certification pathways, cybersecurity compliance, and emerging regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring:

  • Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) credential and strong knowledge of CMMC requirements and assessment processes.
  • Deep expertise in CMMC, NIST SP 800-171/172, ISO 27001, and related cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience conducting cybersecurity assessments, gap analyses, risk assessments, and compliance consulting engagements.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple complex compliance projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and training development capabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, regulators, and external partners.
  • Strategic mindset with experience supporting business growth, service development, and market expansion within cybersecurity assurance.
