Job Overview:
We are seeking high-potential, bilingual engineering talent to joinย Mevionโ€™s China Operations team. This role begins with structured training inย the United States and transitions to supporting our cutting-edge protonย therapy systems in China. Ideal candidates will be fluent in both English andย Chinese, possess a strong STEM background, and be motivated to grow withย a leading high-tech company in Chinaโ€™s healthcare sector. Candidates shouldย also demonstrate strong hands-on capability, the ability to work well underย pressure, and a willingness to actively learn complex systems and contributeย to the healthcare sector.ย

Key Responsibilities:ย ย 

  • Install and test proton therapy systems at customer sites, including wiring,ย assembly, safety inspections, and initial equipment startup.ย ย 
  • Conduct calibration and testing activities, including subsystem setup, systemย operation, and troubleshooting.ย ย 
  • Assist in customer acceptance testing and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Perform equipment upgrades, preventive maintenance, and serviceย documentation in accordance with company standards.ย 
  • Collaborate with global support teams and clinical site personnel to ensureย system readiness and customer satisfaction.ย ย 
  • Maintain detailed service and maintenance records.ย 
  • Provide technical feedback on system performance and improvements.
  • Participate in boot camps, team meetings, and cross-functional trainingย sessions.ย ย 
  • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and help train future cohorts asย needed.ย ย 
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electricalย Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Intelligent Medical Instruments, or aย related STEM field.ย ย 
  • Language: Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English isย required.ย ย 
  • Background:Candidates with a strong understanding of both U.S. andย Chinese cultures are preferred. A background that includes education orย experience in both regions is a plus.ย ย 
  • Skills: Basic understanding of software/hardware and network controlย systems. Skilled in interpreting schematics and technical documentation.ย Hands-on Experience with technical work, such as in labs, research, and/orย competitions.ย 
  • Soft Skills: Strong sense of responsibility and execution. Excellentย communication and collaboration abilities. Self-motivated and proactive.ย Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

Work Conditions:

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Open to rotating shifts and extended field assignments.
  • Capable of and comfortable with working in environments containing lowย levels of radiation. ย All applicable protective standards are provided andย adhered to as required. ย
