Country: This role is based in Belize only. Candidates must be fully authorized to work in Belize.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: USD $1200 per month
About the Role
Aruna Resort & Villas is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support the resort's daily financial operations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, supporting purchasing and receiving activities, and ensuring timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
What You'll Do
  • Upload and manage required financial reports accurately and on schedule.
  • Process payments and reconcile all methods of payment.
  • Support daily purchasing and receiving activities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Assist with financial reporting, recordkeeping, and general accounting functions.
  • Perform accounting calculations and analyses to support business operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and financial records.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial, employee, and guest information.
  • Support special projects and perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.

  • Minimum one year of accounting experience.

Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)
