Our client located in Bayshore is looking to hire a Financial Analyst on a direct hire basis. This financial analyst position is a full time role and is on site. The standard hours are Monday – Friday from 9am – 5:30pm.

JOB TITLE: Financial Analyst

We are recruiting for a highly driven, experienced Financial Analyst to become a part of a growing team. This individual should have 3+ years of analyst experience. This position will report to the Controller and work closely with the CFO. The company is in the distribution industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes but not limited to)

  • Analyses of business and financial data.
  • Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
  • Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
  • Analyze industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends.
  • Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS:

  • Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and strive well in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
  • High level of accounting training, such as bachelor’s or higher degrees in accounting or finance.
  • 3+ years accounting or finance experience. CPA not required but a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (ex: pivot table, v-lookup).
  • Strong ability to communicate in writing and speaking, as well as good organizational skills.
  • Excels at working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Detailed oriented with excellent ability to analyze data and circumstances.

Salary is based upon experience but the target is $60k-65k plus a complete benefits package.
