Job Overview

Are you tech-savvy with a high attention to detail? TRC is seeking a Check-in/out Technician to support a major technology deployment center in Norcross. This role is a hybrid of logistics and technical support, perfect for someone looking to grow their career in IT hardware, configuration, and supply chain management.

Targeted Skill Sets

To excel in this role, candidates should possess experience or familiarity with:

  • Hardware Configuration: Loading software, firmware updates, and network setting validation.

  • Inventory Logistics: Accurate shipping, receiving, and asset tracking.

  • Device Troubleshooting: Basic diagnostics for mobile devices and peripherals.

  • Quality Assurance (QA): Verifying technical specifications against customer build guides.

  • Staging & Production: High-volume device preparation and system support.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Technical Staging: Install, configure, and validate software/firmware on mobile devices according to specific customer requirements.

  • Network Setup: Load and test network settings to ensure devices are "field-ready" upon shipment.

  • Quality Control: Conduct rigorous QA checks to ensure all hardware meets standards and document any discrepancies for Project Leads.

  • Logistics Management: Receive incoming devices, inspect for damage, and verify order accuracy against manifests.

  • Maintenance: Test, charge, and replace device batteries; troubleshoot minor technical glitches during the staging process.

  • Documentation: Maintain precise records of all device serial numbers and statuses in the tracking system.

  • Shipping Preparation: Repackage, label, and organize outgoing shipments for secure transit.

  • Collaboration: Follow detailed workflows and communicate equipment issues to technical support teams or leads promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Previous background in technology staging, warehouse operations, or systems support.
