Job description

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented individual to manage front desk operations, including patient check-in and check-out. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth, organized flow for daily appointments. This role verifies that all follow-up appointments, payments, referrals, and instructions are provided accurately. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent communication are key for success.

**Pay will be based on experience**

Key Responsibilities:

Check-In Duties:

  • Greet patients in a warm and professional manner

  • Verify patient information, demographics, and insurance

  • Collect co-pays and required documents

  • Ensure proper completion of registration forms

Check-Out Duties:

  • Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals

  • Provide patients with visit summaries and instructions

  • Collect any remaining balances

  • Ensure all services are billed and documented appropriately

Other Duties:

  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly and courteously

  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk area

  • Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed

  • Collaborate with billing, scheduling, and medical teams

  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
