Job description

We’re Hiring: Promotional & Field Marketing Intern (Bilingual), Miami

Bizcap is looking for a bilingual Promotional & Field Marketing Intern to help build our presence across Miami’s small business community.

Bizcap is a global small business funder that recently launched in the U.S., with Miami as our home base. We’re new to the market, so this role has a clear mission: get out into the community and help people know the Bizcap name.

This isn’t a lead generation role. It’s about presence, relationships, and brand awareness. By the end of the semester, we want Miami’s event organizers, chambers, business associations, and small business owners to know who Bizcap is, and to have met you.

What you’ll do

You’ll split your time between research and being out in the field:

• Build and manage our Miami area event calendar, including expos, chamber events, industry conferences, Spanish language business events, and community programs

• Research events and sponsorship opportunities to determine where Bizcap should show up

• Book and staff events, from setup through breakdown

• Meet business owners, introduce Bizcap, answer basic questions, and connect interested owners with our funding team

• Manage a monthly event and sponsorship budget and track spend

• Coordinate event materials, signage, swag, inventory, and print collateral

• Conduct sponsorship and partnership outreach and keep conversations organized

• Write short post event recaps covering conversations, questions, objections, and key takeaways

• Support Spanish language marketing materials and review translations for natural, fluent Spanish

You’ll be trained on how to talk about Bizcap and where your role ends and our funding team takes over. You won’t be expected to answer detailed questions about deal size, terms, or qualification.

What we’re looking for

• Currently enrolled in a degree program such as marketing, communications, business, hospitality, or a related field, or recently graduated

• Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written

• Comfortable walking up to people you don’t know and starting a conversation, this is the most important quality we’re looking for

• Highly organized and comfortable managing calendars, budgets, spreadsheets, outreach, and event logistics simultaneously

• Based in Miami Dade or Broward with reliable transportation to events throughout the area

• Available for some evening and occasional weekend events

• Able to lift and carry event materials, banners, and boxes

Nice to have

• Experience in events, street teams, brand ambassador programs, campus marketing, or hospitality

• Familiarity with Miami’s small business or Hispanic business community

• Experience tracking activity in a spreadsheet or CRM

Role details

Location: North Miami, FL, three days per week in the Bizcap office, plus time in the field at events

Hours: Part time, approximately 20 to 24 hours per week

Compensation: $15.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement for event travel

Academic credit: Can be arranged if required by your school

Term: One semester, with the option to extend

Language: Fluent Spanish required

Reports to: Marketing Director, Miami Lead, and Marketing Manager, Albania

One thing to know upfront

Bizcap is a business funder, not a bank and not a lender. There is specific language we use, and language we don’t use, when describing what we do. You’ll receive clear guidance and training before your first event, and representing the company accurately is an important part of the role.

If you’re bilingual, outgoing, organized, and excited by the idea of helping introduce a growing global brand to Miami, we’d like to hear from you.
