TYPICAL TASKS supervise and patrol student parking lot by controlling speed of cars, loitering in cars, unauthorized cars on campus and proper parking of cars; patrol areas such as auditorium, gym, locker room, rest rooms in an attempt to stop smoking and vandalism in these areas; assist in supervising student activity areas and library during lunch period; assist in general supervision of campus as directed by assistant principal; assist in afternoon bus loading as needed. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS any combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of twelfth grade and experience with students is desirable; demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and students; skill in motivating, encouraging and assisting students; analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action; establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; meet mental requirements for this position; meet physical characteristics in compliance with American with Disabilities Act (ADA)
