Job description

Job Title

Responsible for a full range of support activities related to Agency fiscal/financial/auditing functions. Assignments fall within established and known systems, processes and operations.

Broad functional scope typically involves rotational work assignments throughout multiple functional areas such as various tax functions, bookkeeping functions, budgeting assignments for clients, and overall acting to secure and account for client property.

Assists in investigation of personal property, assets and resources upon appointment, in conjunction with other members of the financial and OPG team. Occasionally accompanies other employees on field visits to clients or client residences.

Job Requirements

Possession of an Associate's Degree or higher in Accounting or related field.

OR

Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Management, Computer Information Systems, or related field.

OR

  • Experience in accounting support which includes performing financial transactions such as accounting, auditing, payroll, or taxes.
  • One year experience in creating financial reports which includes combining and presenting financial data from multiple sources in an organized format.
  • One year experience in using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve/inquire and report on data.
  • Six months experience in determining compliance or financial transactions with required documentation, computations, codes, signatures, and rules/regulations.

Conditions of Hire
