Role: Modernization Architect - With Mainframes expertise
Duration: Full time / Permanent
Location: Memphis, TN



10-14 years experience in a z/OS environment with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 ,IMS DB/DC and VSAM technologies


Proven application Architecting and Design experience using for medium to complex requirements in mainframe platform


Proven experience with Data migration from AS400 to other DBs


Strong familiarity and/or experience with designing and developing Web-based applications


Experience in designing solution/strategy for large Modernization/Migration requirements.


Expertise in various estimation approaches and experience in developing early stage estimates for large requirements


Very good knowledge of domain area in Retail/Logistics


Experience in providing solutions for performance problems for mainframe applications.


Exposure to integrations technologies like NDM, MQ, RPC, web services


Mastery of Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint , Word and Excel


Outstanding technical team leadership and mentoring skills


Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate complex technical concepts


Excellent customer relationship skills


Comfortable within a fast-moving growth environment


Self-starter, highly motivated individual and team player who can adapt to changes in customer requirements quickly

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
